Ministry Groups

Missions & Benevolence Ministry Group

The Missions and Benevolence Ministry Group identifies and recommends to the membership worthy Christian and humanitarian causes for the Lake Oconee Community Church's support as well as denominational/organizational affiliations. The ministry group also prepares and manages the annual mission/benevolence budget and is responsible for approved disbursements of funds.

In late 2007, the Missions & Benevolence Group, in an effort to become a more transformative factor in the community, hired Pastor Avis Williams and revised their focus to more targeted community involvement.
